Travel Updates for Saturday, September 24, 2022

Good afternoon, Shop Hoppers! As you plan your routes for this weekend, be advised that the Pumpkin Festival is THIS Saturday (September 24) in Elkin, NC. North Bridge Street and Main Street (East and West) will be CLOSED all day. Alternate routes (from north or south) are shown on the map below.

Parking in downtown Elkin will be very limited throughout the day. There are a number of public parking areas throughout town.

Yadkin Valley Quilts is open 10-3 on Saturdays. We have a few off-street parking spaces available for our customers on the east side of our building, accessible from the east end of E. Main Street. Additionally, there are a number of spaces outside of our classroom entrance (same building) on E. Market Street.

If you park on E. Market Street, we encourage you to use the concrete stairs on the west side of the building (noted on map) – they are easier to navigate than the metal stairs on the east side of the building.

As always, if you find yourself running short of time, give us a call and let us know where you are – in most circumstances we are able to accommodate later visits.
