Kids Camp -- Learn to Quilt
Students will construct a 42" x 59" quilt using student-selected fabric that has been pre-cut for easy construction. During the course of the class, students will gain skills in using a sewing machine, stitching a 1/4" seam accurately, pressing techniques, matching seams and assembling the quilt top. The quilt will be finished with batting and turned back and tied or simple machine quilting.
All materials necessary* to construct a quilt are included in the price.
*A list of additional sewing tools needed will be provided after registration.
Students will need to select fabric the week prior to class. Please contact the studio to make arrangements to do so.
A limited number of class machines are available for use on a first-come basis for students who do not have a machine. If you are desiring to purchase a machine, please talk with the shop prior to doing so in order to make an informed decision.
